However, this is not really true. The program simply intends to set optimal values for parameters such as the Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU), the Time To Live (TTL), and the Receive Window size (RWIN). These values should vary depending on your network configuration and Internet connection type, in order to reach the maximum speed possible. Once these values are optimal, you can see an increase in the speed of all Internet-related services, such as web navigation, downloads, e-mail, chat, video conference, online gaming, etc.
The program offers a messy and visually unattractive user interface, consisting of a single window. It allows you to select the Internet connection type among Modem, ISDN, Cable/DSL, DSL (PPPoE), and Extreme, as well as the optimization method among automatic modes 1, 2 and 3, and custom mode.
